The SIEMENS 6DR5020-0EG00-0AA0 SIPART PS2 is a smart electropneumatic positioner built for precise control in pneumatic linear or part-turn actuators. Overview

SIPART PS2 positioners regulate the actuator’s position in accordance with the setpoint, ensuring responsive and accurate valve control. Built-in diagnostic capabilities allow for condition monitoring both online and offline. When equipped with additional pressure sensors, diagnostics can be extended to further optimize system reliability.

Design

The SIPART PS2 includes:

Separate Mounting

The SIPART PS2 allows remote mounting for applications where ambient conditions are unsuitable. This enables the positioner to be installed in protected areas while the position detection remains at the actuator. Electrical and pneumatic connections are made via cables and tubing.
