Function
The Siemens 3RH1921-1CA01 auxiliary switch serves to add an extra control point to a 3RT1 contactor. When the main contactor is de-energized, the 1 NC contact is in its closed state. When the contactor is energized, the auxiliary switch mechanically changes state, and the 1 NC contact opens. This action can be used for various purposes, including:
- Feedback and Status Indication: Signaling the status (open/closed) of the main contactor to PLCs or indicator lights.
- Interlocking Circuits: Creating safety interlocks to prevent simultaneous operation of conflicting equipment.
- Control Logic: Providing an additional signal for complex control sequences.
- Alarm and Signaling: Triggering alarms or other signals when a specific state of the contactor is reached.
