The Siemens 3RT1975-5AB32 is a high-performance Changeover Operating Mechanism designed specifically as a replacement or spare part for the heavy-duty SIRIUS 3RT1 power contactors. The 3RT1975-5AB32 operating mechanism is the core component that generates the magnetic force required to close (pick-up) and hold closed (hold) the main contacts of the attached power contactor. It allows the contactor to be controlled by a low-voltage (23-26V) signal, isolating the control circuit from the high-power circuit. The Changeover function enables a flexible switching response, while the Standard/Economy Circuit feature manages power consumption, using higher power for initial pick-up and then dropping to a lower holding power in economy mode.
