The SIEMENS 6DR5110-0NM01-0AA0 is a premium SIPART PS2 smart electropneumatic positioner, designed to provide precise control of pneumatic actuators in industrial automation systems. Overview

SIPART PS2 positioners adjust valve positions based on the defined setpoint and continuously monitor system conditions through intelligent diagnostics. Both online (real-time) and offline diagnostics are supported, with expandability via pressure sensors for enhanced fault detection. This allows predictive maintenance and minimizes system downtime.

Design

The SIPART PS2 consists of:

• Electronics with terminals for:

  • PROFIBUS PA or FOUNDATION Fieldbus (bus-powered)
• Non-contacting position feedback (NCS) or potentiometer
• Pneumatic block with right-side supply/actuation ports

Optional connection components include:

• Gauge blocks, boosters, venting blocks, and safety solenoid valves
• VDI3847 interfaces

Installation is compatible with linear or part-turn actuators using mounting kits.

SIPART PS2 supports multiple add-on modules:

• Analog Output Module (AOM): Position feedback (4–20 mA)
• Digital I/O Module (DIO): 3 digital outputs, 1 input, travel limit detection, alarm signaling
• Inductive Limit Switches (ILS): Two NAMUR signal limits with fault indicators
• Mechanical Limit Switches (MLS): Physical travel limits with fault monitoring

All modules are electrically isolated and can be retrofitted easily.
