Overview

The SIPART PS2 series is used to control valve positions based on the setpoint signal. It supports both online and offline intelligent diagnostics. These diagnostics enhance operational transparency and reliability and can be extended with pressure sensors for greater detail.

Design

The SIPART PS2 digital positioner consists of:

• Base plate and lid, with or without inspection window
• Electronics with screw-type terminals for multiple protocols including HART, PROFIBUS PA, and FF
• Pneumatic block with supply and output connections on the right side
• Mounting flexibility for linear or part-turn actuators using standard kits

Optional Expansion

SIPART PS2 supports several functional modules:

• Digital I/O Module (DIO): 3 digital outputs, 1 input, fault signaling, alarm triggering
• Inductive Limit Switches (ILS): Monitors two independent NAMUR limits with fault indicator

Remote Mounting
