Overview
WinCC Unified Calendar
Recurring, calendar-related working times (shifts) and processes (switching commands) can be planned and modified in advance using the WinCC Unified Calendar.
Planning is based on predefined templates and a time model. This time model is used equally for the “WinCC Unified Calendar” and “WinCC Unified Performance Insight” options.
A technological system hierarchy for the project is created in the TIA Portal. One main calendar is assigned to one branch (main node or root node) within this hierarchy. For runtime (within WinCC Unified Runtime), templates can be created for this main calendar and planning for working times and processes can be defined. Planning takes effect automatically for its “hierarchical children”; they can be supplemented or modified there.
The “WinCC Unified Calendar” option is only available for the WinCC Unified PC system.

Application
WinCC Unified Calendar serves user groups which have structured a plant via a plant hierarchy and want to define recurring events within this hierarchy.
Design
With WinCC Unified Calendar licensing, it is possible to manage templates and the use/planning within a main node via the option. Modifications and adaptations of planning hierarchically subordinate system components is possible. The license is stored on the assigned WinCC Unified runtime station. If other main nodes are created and managed on this WinCC Unified runtime station, additional extension licenses for each additional main node are necessary. These extension licenses are additive (countable licenses).
The necessary runtime and engineering components are supplied with the licenses.
