Input tools

Input tools facilitate operation and input in difficult environments.

Touch pens are often extremely useful when operating touch displays, particularly if you are wearing gloves, because you can operate small buttons or entry fields precisely despite the gloves.

Touch pens also protect the display from dirt and scratching during operation and when used in extreme environments.

The following input tools are available for operating the touch display:

• Touch pen
• Touch pen holder
• Spare caps for touch pens

Please be sure to note the correct touch system when ordering (resistive or capacitive).

Not all touch pens are compatible with all touch types. There are touch pens available for both resistive and capacitive touch systems.

Note:

Continuous operation with hard touch pens on the same part of the display can significantly reduce the service life of a touch screen.

A longer service life can be achieved by using soft, wide-tip pens and variable-position entry fields.
