Function
The 3RT1476-6AP36-0AE0 contactor’s primary function is to act as an electrically operated switch. Upon application of the control voltage (220-240V AC/DC) to the coil, the three main power contacts close, allowing the high-current circuit (up to 690 A) to energize. When the control voltage is removed, the contacts open, de-energizing the main circuit. The auxiliary contacts simultaneously change state, providing remote indication or control logic signals.
