Benefit
-
Enhanced System Compatibility: The solid-state compatibility ensures reliable switching for very low currents, making it perfect for direct interfacing with modern Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and digital input modules.
-
Space and Time Savings: Its front-mounting design allows for quick installation and removal without requiring additional side space, simplifying panel design and maintenance.
-
Robust Connection: The ring cable lug connection provides a secure and vibration-resistant terminal, guaranteeing stable and long-term electrical performance in industrial environments.
-
Flexible Signaling: Provides both NO (make) and NC (break) contacts simultaneously, offering comprehensive status signaling (e.g., “Contactor ON” and “Contactor OFF” signals) within the control circuit.
Function
The 3RH2911-4NF11 auxiliary switch physically snaps onto the front face of a compatible Siemens contactor (3RT2) or contactor relay (3RH2). When the main coil of the host device is energized, the mechanical action transfers to the auxiliary switch contacts:
-
The 1 NO contact closes (changes state to make a circuit).
-
The 1 NC contact opens (changes state to break a circuit).
This simultaneous change in state provides immediate, accurate electrical feedback to the control system, confirming the status of the main contactor for safety interlocking, sequential control, and monitoring purposes.
