Overview

Siemens 3MT8080‑1AL20 is a Size S3 power contactor from the legacy SIRIUS 3RT1 series, designed for AC‑3 motor-control duty up to 80 A and 37 kW at 400 V. Equipped with sturdy screw-type main terminals across all three poles, it meets IEC 60947 standards for insulation (up to 690 V) and surge protection (6 kV), offering front protection rated IP20. The contactor includes a 230 V AC coil, along with 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contact for control and signaling purposes–though variants with 2 NO + 2 NC are also available to suit different interlocking needs
