The operator panel with glass touch screen is designed for use in weather-protected areas with low ambient temperatures, e.g. in cooling technology.

It has the same functionality as the SIMATIC HMI Mobile Panels 2nd Generation and is configured exclusively with the innovative HMI software WinCC.

The engineering software is integrated into the “Totally Integrated Automation Portal” engineering framework. WinCC (TIA Portal) as of V15.1 is required to configure the device.

Connection concept with integrated connection point recognition, illuminated EMERGENCY STOP button and acknowledgment button functions are identical to the basic device.

The HMI device is configured in the same way as a fail-safe Mobile Panel 2^nd Generation, except for the operator control functions that are not available on the operator panel.
