The WinCC Unified Databased Storage option is available for use with greater quantity frameworks or lengthy archiving periods. All archive data is stored in an MS SQL server after installing the option and the license.

Licensing

SIMATIC WinCC Unified PC:

  • One license per WinCC Unified PC Runtime is required for activating the functionality.
  • Alarms can be logged without an additional license.
  • Licenses for the number of logging tags used are required for the archiving of process values (tags).
    This number can be increased at any time via additive WinCC Unified logging tags (countable licenses).
