This package includes a single license with a USB license key for secure activation and seamless integration with WinCC V8.0 systems. The software enables powerful centralized control and monitoring of industrial processes.
WinCC/Server V8.0 allows the configuration of a high-performance client/server system. It supports up to three clients connected to non-server operating systems, and coordinated HMI stations can operate within a single group of networked automation systems. The client/server architecture provides flexibility and scalability to meet industrial requirements.
Client without its own project ("UNI-Client"): A single (redundant) server can supply up to 64 clients with process and archive data, messages, images, and reports. The clients act as display and operating stations for the server project.
Client with its own project ("MULTI-Client"): One client can access up to 18 (redundant) servers simultaneously. The servers provide data and images, which are collectively processed and displayed in the client project, enabling system overview across multiple servers. One server can serve up to 50 clients in this configuration. A network connection (TCP/IP) between the server PC and connected clients is required.
