Overview
The CP53M0 coupling module allows coupling of a SIMATIC TDC system to a SIMADYN D system for fast data exchange, e.g. when expanding existing SIMADYN D systems.
Application
- Connection of a SIMATIC TDC system to a SIMADYN D system.
- Connection of a SIMATIC TDC system to two further SIMATIC TDC racks.
- Communications buffer for data exchange between the CPU modules in the rack.
Design
The interface of the CP53M0 coupling module is based on an FOC coupling, and supports the SIMADYN D coupling module.
Function
The following functions can be implemented using the CP53M0 coupling module:
- CP53M0 as master:
CP53M0 is parameterized in HWConfig for operation in master mode (default). In this mode, two slave modules (CS22 or CP53M0) can be connected to the CP53M0. - CP53M0 as slave:
The CP53M0 is parameterized in HW-Config in slave mode. In this mode, a CS12/CS13/CS14 or CP53M0 master module can be connected.
