Overview

The unmanaged Industrial Ethernet switches of the SCALANCE XB-100 product line are optimized for installing Industrial Ethernet networks in line and star topologies. The devices are suitable for both industrial and building automation uses. With high port density and compact, lightweight enclosures, they’re ideal for DIN rail or wall-mounted installations in control panels or limited-space enclosures.

Design Features

SCALANCE XB-100 switches are tailored for DIN rail mounting but can also be installed directly on walls.

Included features:

• Two 3-pin terminal blocks for redundant 24 V AC/DC power supply and grounding
• Power status LED and individual link/data LEDs per port
• IP20-rated enclosure designed for control cabinets and industrial environments

Port Types Available

• 10/100 BaseTX RJ45 ports: support autosensing and autocrossing, compatible with IE TP cables up to 100 m
• 100 BaseFX ST/BFOC or SC optical ports (on other variants): multimode fiber, up to 5 km

All cable connections are located at the front for convenient access.
