The SIEMENS JTATEF1203-0HB Mdexx dv/dt Filter with VPL is designed to optimize the performance and durability of motors operated with SINAMICS G120 and G220 drive systems. With a voltage peak limit of 690V for ranges between 22 kW and 37 kW, and compatibility with 400V motors from 11 kW to 18.5 kW, this solution provides flexibility across a variety of installations. The filter complies with IEC/TS 60034-17:2006 standards, effectively limiting voltage peaks to less than 1350 V phase/phase and less than 1100 V phase/ground at the motor terminals with a nominal DC link voltage of 935 V. This allows the safe use of standard motors with standard insulation, eliminating the need for insulated bearings when operated with the dv/dt filter plus VPL.
