Function
The Siemens 3RT2036-1AL20-1AA0 power contactor serves as an electrically controlled switch for controlling the power flow to an electrical circuit. When the 230 V AC control voltage is applied to the coil, the magnetic field pulls the main contacts together, allowing the current to pass to the connected load. When the control voltage is removed, the contacts open, interrupting the power flow. The integrated auxiliary contacts change state simultaneously with the main contacts, providing status feedback to a control system or for use in safety and interlocking circuits.
