The SIEMENS 7ME3570-1JB40-0LQ1-ZS30 SITRANS FS220 is a state-of-the-art clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter designed for straightforward, reliable volume measurement of liquids. Overview

The FST020 is the entry-level solution in the SITRANS clamp-on family, providing cost-effective performance where ultra-high accuracy is not critical. It originates from the proven analog FUS1010 series but was redesigned in 2017 with advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology, delivering fast response to flow changes, high noise immunity, and simplified installation and maintenance. It measures volume flow, flow speed, and sound velocity, with results available via analog outputs or Modbus interface.

Design

Built for durability and ease of integration, the field-mounted unit features a polycarbonate IP65 (NEMA 4X) housing, making it suitable for challenging environments. It supports single-path measurement using one sensor pair per pipe. The system is powered either by AC (100–240 V) or DC (11.5–28.5 V), offering flexibility in deployment. Its non-intrusive nature ensures that process pipelines remain sealed during installation, reducing downtime and preventing contamination risks.
