Siemens 3MT8018‑1AQ04 is a compact yet capable Size S00 contactor (SIRIUS 3RT2 series) engineered for AC‑3 motor control, rated at 18 A and ideal for three-phase motors up to 7.5 kW at 400 V. It features a 220 V AC coil (50/60 Hz) that consumes 80 VA during pull‐in and 11–12 VA at hold, striking a balance between responsiveness and energy efficiency. Built to IEC 60947 standards, it offers 690 V insulation, 6 kV surge resistance, and mechanical robustness, capable of no-load switching frequencies up to 1 800 operations/hour and AC‑3 switching at 750 ops/hour.
