Overview

Design
The SIPART PS2 digital positioner includes:
- Base plate and lid, with or without inspection window
- Electronics with terminals supporting: 4–20 mA, 4–20 mA with HART, PROFIBUS PA, or FOUNDATION Fieldbus
- Position feedback via potentiometer or NCS
- Pneumatic block with right-side air supply and actuation ports
Optional modules and features include:
- Analog Output Module (AOM): Analog feedback 4–20 mA
- Digital I/O Module (DIO): 3 outputs, 1 input, limit and alarm signaling
- Inductive or Mechanical Limit Switches: Two independent NAMUR/mechanical monitored limits with integrated fault indicators
Separate Mounting Option
The positioner and position detection components can be installed separately. This allows the SIPART PS2 to operate reliably in protected environments when the actuator is exposed to harsh conditions such as vibration, radiation, or electromagnetic interference.
