Overview

Design

The SIPART PS2 comprises:

• Base plate with lid (optional inspection window)
• Electronics for 4–20 mA, HART, PROFIBUS PA, and FOUNDATION Fieldbus communication
• Non-contacting or potentiometric position feedback
• Pneumatic block with connections for supply air and actuating pressure

Optional modules include:

• Analog Output Module (AOM) for 4–20 mA position feedback
• Digital I/O Module (DIO) for alarm signaling and limit monitoring
• Inductive Limit Switches (ILS) and Mechanical Limit Switches (MLS)

These modules are electrically isolated and support easy retrofitting. SIPART PS2 also allows separate mounting from the actuator for protection in harsh environments.
