Siemens 3MT8065‑1AP03 isn’t an AC‑3 motor contactor but rather a capacitor (AC‑6b) contactor in Size S2, part of the SIRIUS range—designed specifically for switching capacitive loads such as filter banks or power factor correction systems. With a capacity of 50 kVAr at 400 V, it handles high-capacitance switching duties (e.g. 17–50 kVAr), while still offering standard three-pole operation and 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contact for control and feedback uses
