The devices are suitable as built-in devices and, in the PRO variant, for direct mounting on a support arm/pedestal. Various display sizes of 12″, 15″, 19″, 22″ and 24″ are available.

Depending on requirements, the monitors can be installed up to 100 m away from the IPC. Convenient operation of modern user interfaces is possible thanks to multi-touch.

The Industrial Flat Panels are used wherever the computing unit (IPC) and the operator/display unit must be installed remotely from one another for technical or application-related reasons. SIMATIC Flat Panels are suitable for direct connection to any PC, but particularly for use with the SIMATIC Box PC or SIMATIC Rack PC, also as a second operating unit on a SIMATIC Panel PC.
