Function
The Siemens 3RT1065-6AF36 power contactor functions as a remotely controlled switch. When the coil is energized by the 110-127 V AC/DC control voltage, the main contacts close, allowing power to flow to the connected motor or load. When the coil is de-energized, the main contacts open, interrupting the power supply. The integrated auxiliary contacts change state in tandem with the main contacts, enabling them to be used for control logic, interlocking, or signaling the status of the contactor to a PLC or other control system.
