Function
The Siemens 3RT2015-1AG61 acts as an electrically operated switch for a three-phase circuit. When the 100 V AC control coil is energized, it closes the main power contacts, allowing current to flow to the connected load (e.g., a motor). When the control voltage is removed, the contacts open, de-energizing the load. The built-in auxiliary contact (1 NO) changes its state simultaneously with the main contacts, providing feedback for control and interlocking circuits, such as for signaling that the contactor is “on.”
Application
- Motor Starters (DOL – Direct-On-Line)
- Pump Control
- Fan and Blower Control
- Conveyor Systems
- HVAC Systems
